Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) such as Pisang Sale Barsah still record incoming and outgoing goods manually using notebooks and simple spreadsheets, which frequently causes recording errors, unsynchronized stock data, and delays in reporting. This study aims to design and build a web-based inventory information system for Pisang Sale Barsah using the Waterfall method, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through observation, interviews with the business owner, and a literature review of related studies. The system was developed using PHP with the CodeIgniter framework and a MySQL database, and was designed based on use case diagrams and an entity relationship diagram covering goods, categories, suppliers, incoming transactions, and outgoing transactions. The system was evaluated using Black Box Testing and a User Acceptance Test (UAT) involving the owner and staff. The Black Box Testing results show that all functional modules run according to specification, while the UAT results show a very good satisfaction category. These results indicate that the developed system is able to improve the accuracy, speed, and transparency of inventory recording for the MSME, and can serve as a reference for similar web-based inventory system development.
